DAY 1: Arrival. Welcome drink with our tour guide
DAY 2: Pearl of the west coast Poreč and Rovinj
In the morning we visit the city of Porec, which has retained a cozy charm. The center is located on a small headland directly on the coast. Stroll through the enchanting old town with the city palace, the pentagonal defense tower and the famous Euphrasius basilica, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The picturesque town of Rovinj, one of the most beautiful towns in Istria, is our next destination. Here you will find many buildings from different times. The Venetian bell tower towers over the old town. Colorful houses, the lively harbor promenade and inviting alleys with an Italian flair are perfect for a stroll after the city tour.
DAY 3: Northwest Istria Umag - Chocolate & Wine Festival
Umag, the first town to enter Istria from the north. During a guided tour you will discover why Umag is a popular holiday destination today. After the city tour there is some free time before we continue our journey along northwest Istria. Brtonigla - at first glance maybe not as well known as Poreč and Rovinj. But this region offers the best of inland Istria - natural parks and caves, picturesque hills, rich flora and fauna, while witnesses of times past can be seen in the form of excellently preserved little churches and chapels.
In this region you will find multiple award-winning olive oils, cheese makers, many small farms with various products with ecological production.
The Chocolate and Wine Festival takes place every year in February.
After the city tour in Umag and a panoramic drive along the region, we end the day with a visit to the Chocolate & Wine Festival (entrance fees included).
