DAY 2 : Island of Krk tour
Today you have a discovery tour of the island of Krk ahead of you. Don't miss out on visiting the largest Adriatic island, Krk, which is currently connected to the mainland by a bridge. The island tour begins with a tour of the town of Krk, with the famous cathedral within its city walls. In the picturesque town of Vrbnik, a wine, schnapps and ham and cheese tasting awaits us in a local restaurant. With its location high up on the mountain slope above the sea, Vrbnik is known for one of the best Croatian wines - Vrbnicka žlahtina.
Franciscan island Košljun
On the islet we can see models of old ships from the Kvarner region, folk costumes from the island of Krk, a coin and ceramic collection, various ethnographic exhibits about the work of farmers and fishermen. We reach the island by boat from the port of Punat (10 minutes crossing). Ship and entrance fees can be booked for an additional charge.
DAY 3 :Rab
Rab is the fourth in the alliance of the Kvarner Islands. The 94 km2 island with its over 2,000 year old capital attracts every visitor with its diversity. The four distinctive church towers are the landmarks of the old town, which are among the most beautiful on the entire Adriatic coast. If you stroll through the three parallel main streets, you will still be able to discover some old patrician houses with filigree gothic pointed arch windows and other architectural details.
An absolute highlight of the Raber “desserts” is the Raber Torte (for an extra charge). The secret recipe dates from 1177, when the cake was first served to Pope Alexander III on the occasion of the dedication of the Assumption Cathedral on the island. Drive along the magnificent coast of the Crikvenica Riviera, stopping in the city of the Red Zora - Senj. Return to the hotel in the afternoon.
DAY 4 : Cres and Lošinj
From Valbiska the ferry takes us to the island of Cres. The 405 km2 large, stony island was ruled by the Venetians for almost 750 years. Largely untouched nature creates the charm of this island - stone landscapes with fragrant sage bushes, in the middle of it the beautiful freshwater lake "Vransko jezero" - an ornithological nature reserve and the island's drinking water reservoir - and in the sky the rare, protected griffon vultures, which because of their typical head color also as White-headed vultures are called. It is separated from the island of Mali Lošinj by a 9 m narrow canal near the village Osor. Mali Lošinj, with its lush vegetation, contrasts with Cres.
