Metropolis of Dalmatia Trogir and Split
Trogir - it has preserved its medieval character in such a way that one can speak of a museum city. The old town is located on a peninsula that was separated from the mainland by a canal in Greek times. It is connected to the island of Čiovo by a bascule bridge. During a city tour you will learn a lot: about the St. Laurentius Cathedral, the most important sight in Trogir and certainly one of the most important monuments in Central Dalmatia, about the Greek god of happiness, Cairo ...
In Split we admire, among other things, the Diocletian's Palace. The Roman emperor Diocletian decided to build his summer residence in Split in 305. He had a residence built that was unique for the building industry at the time, with strong walls, numerous defensive towers, temples, palaces and thermal baths. Today this palace represents the largest complex of ancient monuments in Croatia and is a popular sightseeing object.

Makarska
The picturesque town of Makarska is located directly on the Adriatic Sea and is the center of the Makarska Riviera. Makarska has a very beautiful old town that can be explored on foot.

Mostar - traces of the Orient
Mostar was one of the trading centers of the Ottoman Empire, as evidenced by the features from that time that have been preserved to this day. In the city we will see the remains of the Old Bridge from 1566, as well as parts of the old Turkish bazaar, the great mosque and the typical Turkish house. Mostar's old town with its colorful bazaar, Turkish houses and the Old Bridge has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005.

Numerous attractions await us on the way to Mostar: from the city of Neum to the Neretva Delta to the Počitelj fortress - a prime example of oriental architecture high above a river.

Our recommendation (surcharge):

  • Make a stop on the way to Mostar:
  • We offer you the opportunity to relax for an hour from the bus ride: a boat trip through the green river and lost city including a tasting of local liqueurs and fruit or fritule - traditional Croatian pastries.

Korčula, the famous city of Marco Polo
Visit Korčula, one of the most beautiful medieval towns on the Adriatic coast and the birthplace of Marco Polo. Take a stroll through the streets with Renaissance palaces, the city box and the beautiful cathedral of Saint Marcus, the city protector. According to legend, the town of Korčula was created by the Trojan hero Antenor, the founder of Padua, but this is only a legend. The town and island of Korčula were founded as early as the 10th century, but civilization on the island dates back much further into the past. The city of Korčula is surrounded by walls, and is one of the most romantic coastal cities in Croatia, which is a popular destination for many cruise ships. Did you know that the famous navigator Marko Polo was born on the island of Korčula in 1254 in a family of traders?

Dubrovnik - a monument city
The charm and beauty of the city of Dubrovnik lie in its long history. Over the centuries, Dubrovnik has asserted itself as an independent, strong and influential city. It was a state with a very strong shipping industry and preserved its independence through wholesale trade with, for example, the Ottoman Empire. Dubrovnik, geographically small as a state, had to trade with powers and give up part of its territory. So it managed to survive until the early 18th century. Its particular geographical location helped develop the successful trading and shipping tradition. The historic old town of Dubrovnik is surrounded by a completely preserved and particularly impressive fortress-like city wall. Dubrovnik is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will get to know the city today on a guided tour.
After crossing the Gothic bridge of the inner city gate, on which there is a statue of Stankt Blasius designed by the Croatian sculptor Ivan Meštrović, the view opens onto the main street of the city, the Placa (Stradun). From this street, all major sights of the city can be reached in a few minutes on foot. After the tour you have the opportunity to explore Dubrovnik yourself.

Our recommendation: (surcharge for admission)
The oldest pharmacy in Europe is located in Dubrovnik, founded in 1317 in the Franciscan monastery. It is currently part of the Franciscan Museum, but it is still open.
The Rector's Palace is a palace in Dubrovnik and was built as the seat of the government and residence of the Prince, the political office in the Republic of Dubrovnik.
