The Adriatic coast has always been very attractive and a long time ago life by the sea was not very safe due to many invaders, so the threatened people built their houses and villages - which seemed much safer - in the mountains above the sea.
Welcome to a landscape that has even inspired producers of Winnetou - probably the best-known, friendliest and most popular Indians in history, in any case the Karl May stories - to shoot the most beautiful scenes of the film right here with us.
Fans of wild landscapes will get their money's worth here. Experience the true natural beauties of Croatia: the breathtaking Plitvice Lakes National Park with its 16 lakes in beautiful colors, the famous Krka waterfalls, the smoking river Zrmanja, spectacular and bare rocks ...
Experience pure nature and let yourself be enchanted by the natural beauties.

PROGRAM SUGGESTION:
DAY 1: Arrival in the Plitvice Lakes area - welcome and information hour with the tour guide
DAY 2: Plitvice Lakes National Park
One of the most famous and most visited national parks in Croatia, a natural wonder that you have to experience. Enjoy the view of a total of 16, connected by cascades and rivers, shimmering turquoise lakes, which flow together from numerous streams and rivers. This beautiful Croatian national park has been under the special protection of UNESCO since 1979.
Continue to the Zadar area. Overnight in the Zadar area.
DAY 3: Šibenik and Krka Waterfalls National Park
The beautiful medieval town is not far from the mouth of the Krka River. Šibenik is also the oldest Croatian city on the Adriatic. It is mentioned for the first time in 1066, in the gift certificate from Petar Krešimir IV, the most important Croatian king. One of the most famous sights of this city is the Cathedral of St. Jacob, as an important building not only in Croatian architecture, but also in all of Europe. It was built entirely from stone from the island of Brač and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site for many years. A few kilometers after Šibenik there is a wonderful view of the paradisiacal river landscape of the Krka National Park. Numerous gorges meander through the area, here you can see the natural beauties of Skradinski buk, Roški slap and the small island of Visovac, on which there is a Franciscan monastery with a valuable library. The most beautiful, however, are the seven large waterfalls that create a breathtaking view.
DAY 4: Adventure excursion to the still undiscovered Zrmanja Nature Park and the metropolis of Dalmatia - Zadar
Today brings us over the Maslenica Bridge to the meeting point with our host. Once there, every guest receives an original shepherd's stick, the same one the shepherds used to collect the lost sheep and bring them home. Shortly before it flows into Maslenica Bay, the Zrmanja has cut an impressive canyon into the karst mountains. This is where a pueblo was found in the Karl May film Winnetou II. The fact that the Zrmanja Gorge is worth a visit is also proven by the fact that many of Winnetou's scenes were shot exactly at this point in the beautiful canyon. That is why the Canyon has been an insider tip among Karl May fans for years.
After a photo stop, we continue to the village of Žeželji and there our journey through time can begin: You will be strengthened with a hearty picnic: homemade bread, olives, olive oil, almonds, basa (a quark specialty of the region), almonds and figs. You will learn more about the country, people, costumes, tradition and folklore in the village where your current hosts live, about 20 inhabitants. Experience unique folklore, the men's group "Žegar živi", whose song is on the UNESCO list of the intangible cultural heritage of mankind. This is followed by a traditional lunch “Čobanski kazan” (strong goulash with the best meat) which our hosts prepare for us freshly on site in a kettle over the fire. While you enjoy your lunch, listen to the tunes our folk group. Music, dance and animation, all right on the Zrmanja river and by an old mill. As a farewell, each guest receives a small present: a bag with fine almonds to take home the taste of today.
Then it goes towards Zadar - the center of the region with its rich cultural heritage which is still visible today: Roman forum from the 1st century, the famous church of St. Donatus, at the same time the symbol of the city ... not to be missed famous sea organ which attracts numerous guests every year. At the extreme tip of the Zadar peninsula, next to the world-famous sea organ, the work "Greeting to the Sun" by the same architect Nikola Bašić shines. The Greeting to the Sun consists of three hundred multilayer glass plates arranged in a circle on the same level as the stone-paved promenade. The circle has a diameter of 22 meters.

EXCURSION POSSIBILITIES - OUR RECOMMENDATIONS:
Kornati Islands National Park - take part in a beautiful excursion to the Kornati Islands. We reach the island by ship. Great vibe, lunch (fish and meat) and unlimited drinks.
The Kornati are the largest and densest collection of islands in the Mediterranean. Nowhere else in this sea are so many islands clustered in such a small space. Due to imprecise criteria for defining islands, there is no unanimous opinion about the number of islands in this group. But one can speak of 150 islands scattered on a lake area of about 320 m2. Undoubtedly the most important and impressive thing that the hands of the Kornati inhabitants created is the dry stone wall. One of the basic characteristics of the dry stone wall is the way in which it is expanded. Since all large islands have an elongated shape, all dry stone walls were built from sea to sea or from one side of the island to the other. The wall is just high enough so that the sheep cannot jump over it and come to a strange pasture, and just as wide as it needs to be so as not to be destroyed by a strong wind.
